FREE SHIPPING – This 15 piece kit was designed for safely removing the stem from a watch movement with the dial and hands attached.

TIPS: Prepare by choosing the best size insert while the dial is off the movement by testing a few different sizes. The inserts are in .5mm increments so you should be able to find the best fit for your dial. It’s best to know the correct size in advance of hands installation, where it becomes a bit more difficult testing different sizes. NOTE: Sizes are a guide only and are not 100% accurate due to material shrinkage in the printing process. At 29mm dial might work best with a 28.5mm insert, etc.

It works best to place the insert into the base tab side first, then push the back side down.

When you’re ready to remove the stem, carefully place the movement into the insert dial side down and depress the stem release.

Take clearance measurements if necessary before you start. The inserts should provide enough hands clearance for most dials, but double check to be sure.

Don’t hesitate to use the kit for other purposes in watch repair. While it doesn’t clamp the dial or movement, you might find it handy for other tasks
